Welcome to Travel Mate Lanka (Pvt) Ltd.! By booking and participating in our tours, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
1. Booking and Payment:
1.1. All bookings are subject to availability and will be confirmed upon receipt of the required deposit or full payment.
1.2. A non-refundable deposit of 25% is required at the time of booking to secure your reservation.
1.3. Full payment must be made at the arrival to the country before the start of the tour. Failure to do so may result in cancellation without refund.
1.4. Payment can be made via bank transfer and cash payment.
2. Cancellation and Refund Policy:
2.1. Cancellations made 14 days before the tour departure will receive a refund of entire amount other than the non-refundable deposit.
2.2. Cancellations made within 07 days of the tour departure are non-refundable.
2.3. If the tour is canceled by Travel Mate Lanka due to unforeseen circumstances, a full refund will be provided, or an alternative tour will be offered. But according to the clients wish will arrange.
2.4. No refunds will be given for unused services or no-shows.
3. Changes and Amendments:
3.1. Travel Mate Lanka reserves the right to make minor changes to the itinerary due to weather conditions, road closures, or other factors beyond our control. We will ensure that these changes do not affect the overall experience of the tour.
3.2. Any changes made by the client to the booking after confirmation may be subject to additional charges.
4. Health and Travel Insurance:
4.1. It is the responsibility of the client to inform Travel Mate Lanka of any medical conditions or dietary requirements prior to the tour.
4.2. All clients must have comprehensive travel insurance that covers personal injury, medical expenses, loss of property, and cancellations.
5. Safety and Conduct:
5.1. Clients are expected to follow the safety guidelines provided by Travel Mate Lanka and its representatives. Failure to do so may result in termination of the tour without refund.
5.2. Travel Mate Lanka is not liable for any loss, damage, or injury arising from reckless behavior or failure to adhere to safety instructions.
5.3. Respect for local customs, culture, and environment is mandatory throughout the tour.
6. Liability:
6.1. Travel Mate Lanka acts as an agent for third-party suppliers such as accommodation providers, transport operators, and activity organizers. While we carefully select these suppliers, we are not responsible for their actions or omissions.
6.2. Travel Mate Lanka shall not be liable for any loss, injury, or damage to personal property during the tour, unless caused by our negligence.
6.3. Any claims or disputes must be reported within 7 days of the tour’s completion.
7. Force Majeure:
7.1. Travel Mate Lanka is not responsible for any delay, cancellation, or alteration of the tour due to circumstances beyond our control, such as natural disasters, political unrest, strikes, or pandemics. In such cases, we will do our best to offer alternative arrangements, but refunds may not be possible.
8. Passports, Visas, and Travel Documents:
8.1. Clients are responsible for ensuring that they have valid passports, visas, and any other required travel documents.
8.2. Travel Mate Lanka is not liable for any costs incurred due to failure to obtain the necessary travel documentation.
9. Age and Eligibility:
9.1. All participants must be 16years of age or older, unless accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. 9.2. Certain tours may have additional requirements or restrictions, which will be communicated prior to booking.
10. Governing Law:
10.1. These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka. Any disputes arising from these terms will be subject to the jurisdiction of Sri Lankan courts.
